Privacy notice (interim)

1. Operator and contact

This website is operated by Ahmed Alsaigh, trading as Zaviku. Zaviku is not an incorporated limited company.

A publishable business correspondence address has not yet been added to this interim website. It will be included in the full Privacy Policy when confirmed. We do not publish a home address or personal phone number.

2. What this website processes

• Website hosting and security: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may process request metadata such as IP address, browser or user-agent information and the requested URL to deliver and protect the website.
• Enquiries you send us: if you email [email protected], our email provider, Namecheap Private Email, processes your email address and the contents of your message so we can respond.
• Privacy preference: the website stores your cookie choice in your browser under zaviku.privacy-preferences.v1 for up to 12 months.
• No accounts or payments: this website does not provide Relay registration, public sign-in, card payments or subscription checkout. Those functions remain closed.
• No analytics delivery: optional product analytics is disabled for this release. No analytics events are sent or stored, even if you record an analytics preference.

3. Why we process it

• Hosting and security: our legitimate interests in operating a secure, reliable website.
• Enquiries: our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries, and steps necessary before entering a contract where applicable.
• Optional analytics preference: consent, where required. Delivery is currently disabled, so no analytics processing takes place.

4. Sharing

We use Cloudflare for website hosting, security and routing, and Namecheap Private Email for email. We do not sell personal information, run advertising pixels or share website data with marketing platforms.

5. International processing

Cloudflare operates a global network, and Namecheap is based in the United States. We are confirming the final provider-specific transfer terms for the full Privacy Policy. This interim notice does not claim that a UK-specific transfer addendum is in place for every provider.

6. Retention

• Hosting and security logs are controlled by Cloudflare under its configuration and terms.
• Enquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to respond and maintain relevant business records.
• The privacy preference is kept for up to 12 months and then expires.
• No analytics event records are created while analytics delivery is disabled.

7. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, request portability, and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Email [email protected] to make a request. We may ask for information needed to verify identity.

You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

9. Changes

This interim notice will be replaced by the full Privacy Policy when the remaining legal arrangements are finalised. It does not create contractual terms or an approved data processing agreement.
